Why are you at The Mission Church?

The Mission Church exists to reach people far from God, and we are here to be an example to them of the wondrous life that awaits them when they put their faith in Jesus Christ. We are here because as a church body, we take that seriously and welcome any and everyone to share, belong, and partake in the Kingdom of God. Regardless of your age, experience, or where you are in your faith walk, at The Mission Church, you are family and you are welcome. When we experienced this first hand, we wanted to help others experience it as well.

What do you love about Appleton?

Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, when God called us to Appleton we were a little surprised because we had no idea what to expect. We certainly didn’t think that better drivers would be on of those things ;)…we were surprised and delighted at this one.

But in all seriousness, my wife and I love the people, the diversity and the culture of the people that call this wonderful city home. Being able to minister to students and share with them the Love of Christ, is incredible and to see them grow to “own their faith” is something that is inspiring to any and all who get to be a part of it.

Tell us about your passions/hobbies/family.

When I am not in front of The Mission Youth, I love being a husband and best friend to my wife, Katie. We spend great amounts of time together and she tags along on some of my other adventures as well. As an individual, I am a passionate Scuba Diver and an avid golfer. I love to travel both domestically and internationally, and when we take time for the two of us, we tend to end up somewhere tropical.
