Who We Are
Mission Kids exists to come alongside parents to help raise kids who know and love Jesus.
We believe in kid-friendly teaching of God's Word, worship, kids praying for each other and experiencing community beginning with our very youngest infants.
We want kids to love coming to church and be reluctant to leave. Church should be a safe and loving place, a place to feel God's love and care through the hands of faithful volunteers.
Mission Kids is available at both our 9 & 10:30am Services for kids Birth - 5th grade
Age Groups
MISSION 02 serves our youngest kids from birth through age 2. Lots of toys, cuddles and love describe this room. There is always a Big Book lesson and prayer time for our toddlers.
MISSION 345 is our pre-school room. We LOVE Veggie Tales and incorporate them in our weekly lessons. Children begin to pray for each other at this age and learn cool songs about Jesus.
MISSION K5 is our elementary age kids. We use a fun "kids church" format that includes movie clips, popcorn, games, songs, fun and friendships. Kids learn God's Word in a way that is engaging and age appropriate. Every week we have a memory verse and all who know it get a prize. Kids from 4th - 8th grade can be part of a serving team.
Staff and Volunteers
Jody Muck is our children's pastor. She has worked in children's ministry for over 20 years. In her own words, "I have always loved kids and getting to teach them about Jesus is the best! " All of the people who work with Mission Kids love God and love kids and are happy to serve. Each volunteer goes through an application process which includes a backgroud check. Parents can observe any of our classes through one-way glass.
