Ways to Watch

May 20th Update

After much prayer, conversation, and discernment, the leadership of The Mission Church feel it is best to remain closed at this time.

While many businesses are reopening, we feel it is best for us to take a “wait and see approach”. The church setting, in general, is unique in that we would be in a confined space for an extended period of time.

While the safe at home order was overturned, it was not lifted because numbers were moving in the right direction. We want nothing more than to be together for worship, but we don’t want to put someone into harms way.

We have a great plan in place that is ready to go once we feel we can safely open. Our team is keeping a close eye on the number of cases in our community and using that as a gauge of when it would be good to reopen.

In the meantime, please continue to join us online for worship and teaching.

God bless!

WE ARE THE CHURCH

REMAIN FAITHFUL

Faithfulness will look different in the coming days and weeks, but we have a chance to look back on this time and say that we remained faithful.

WHEREVER WE ARE, LET'S BE THE CHURCH

Our God is bigger than this virus. Let’s be the church, let your faith flourish in this season, choosing to be faithful, daily in the way you practice your faith. Read your Bible, pray, sing worship, find ways to connect digitally, and look for ways to put your faith into practice by serving and loving others. Now be the church!

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We will have a message and guided ways you can teach your kids about Jesus in this time.

WHAT ABOUT GIVING?

Giving can be done electronically through our website and app, or you can mail checks into the church. We are still doing our part to serve the community by contributing to local organizations that are on the front lines serving those in need.

We are better together, friends. Let’s embrace a new kind of community as we resist the temptation to lose connection.
