Connection: It is important for us that The Mission Church is a safe and friendly environment where people can build trust and new relationships. If you enjoy talking to people, hearing their stories, or just playing a game, you are a welcome fit for this team at The Refuge. We spend time with the people who come in from 2:00pm to 3:30pm, but any amount of time that fits your schedule is perfect.

Cooking & Serving Food: If you would like to prepare something of your choosing and deliver it to church for The Refuge, click HERE to let us know what you’d like to contribute.

There is always a need for people to serve behind the counters. We serve food from 2:00pm to 3:30pm, and there are always dishes to be washed, coffee and lemonade to be made, as well as other odd jobs. Whether you can stay for an hour or four, any amount of help is greatly appreciated.

Setting Up & Tearing Down: If you still feel called to help The Refuge, but worry about cooking or people skills or simply don’t have a ton of time, we need your help setting up or resetting the building. From 1:00pm to 2:00pm we set up our Lobby and 3:30pm to 4:30pm we clean up and get everything put back together. These responsibilities are always best when shared. Many hands make light work.
